THE UNITED STATES EMBASSY IN HANOI ORGANIZED EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES SESSION AT HOA LU UNIVERSITY

On September 12, 2019, the US Embassy in Hanoi coordinated with Hoa Lu University, Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh to organize an extracurricular activities session for school students.

With the consent of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province, on September 12, 2019, the US Embassy in Hanoi coordinated with Hoa Lu University, Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh to organize an extracurricular activities session for school students.

In the session, Mr. Gabriel Hurst - Deputy Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy presented an overview of American culture, people and education. As the 4th largest country in the world, the United States of America is a melting pot of many ethnic groups. Despite this, the United States still has its own cultural identity of a developed, civilized and modern country. The United States has many famous places with the religious diversity, U.S also has a strong development in the fields of economy, science - technology, education and training, and is one of the world’s most powerful countries in political influence rankings.

With limited time, but the extracurricular activities session is an opportunity for the staff, lecturers and students of Hoa Lu University to gain more knowledge about the culture of the United States, and at the same time increase their learning skills, such as communication skills, presentation skills, team working skills, etc.
