Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2019 kicked off

Youth Union and Student Association of Hoa Lu University launched the Summer Volunteer Campaign 2019 in Luu Phuong Commune - Kim Son District from June 17 to June 22, 2019.

Youth Union and Student Association of Hoa Lu University launched the Summer Volunteer Campaign 2019 in Luu Phuong Commune - Kim Son District from June 17 to June 22, 2019.

In nearly one week of the campaign, 45 students and 5 lecturers of Hoa Lu University joined the local people and youth members to clean up the environment by reducing plastic waste and littering on streets and in canals. Besides that, the campaign is varied with others meaningful activities such as: summer revision classes for local children, awards for excellent students in difficult situations, sports and cultural activities at some villages. In particular, the volunteer team built 1 project to light up the countryside with 02km of village electricity line at villages 10 and 11 of Luu Phuong Communes.

With careful spiritual and physical preparation, the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign 2019 brought not only the values and benefits to the community but also the memories in the residents and the volunteers.
