The Department of Quality Assurance & Testing

The Department of Quality Assurance & Testing (predecessor of the Department of External Relations - Scientific Management and Quality Control) was established Decision No. 47 / QD-UBND, dated January 15, 2009 by Ninh Ninh People's Committee On the amendment, supplement of the Regulation promulgated together with Decision No. 2354 / QD-UBND, dated 05/10/2007 of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province on functions, tasks, powers, responsibilities and structure staffing and staffing of Hoa Lu University. The Department has the function of advising and assisting the Principal on the examination work, the quality assurance of the branches and the training systems in the school.

Currently, there are 07 staffs, lecturers and experts, including: 01 Head, 01 Deputy Head, 05 lecturers and specialists. About professional level: there are 06 Masters, 01 bachelor.

2. Achievements:

Since its inception, the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance has focused on renovating the university’s examinations and final semester’s examinations to assess the accuracy, fairness and objectivity of the students contributing to improve the quality of training of the university. The department has actively advised the Party Committee on the promulgation of two resolutions, namely Resolution 86 / NQ-ĐU on enhancing guidance and management of the module, semester and Resolution 142 / NQ-ĐU about continuing to lead, direct renewal semester exams. As a result of the resolution of the Party Committee, the unit advised the President to issue a program of action to implement the Resolution of the Party Committee, focusing on renovating the organization and management of the semester exams.

Based on the training regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, the school leaders have advised the school leaders to promulgate documents regulating the examination procedures and evaluating the results of the school's training systems. Clearly define the responsibilities of each unit and individual in each stage of the exam process such as making the test,monitoring the exam, marking the test... for each form of examination. In order to help the units well implement the process of exam, the department has actively drafted the form documents and examination records for the units to ensure uniformity throughout the university.

Annually, the department has advised the school leaders to develop a plan to organize the exams for the semester, in a specific and timely manner, and publicly and promptly inform the lecturers and students. Annually, he actively advised on the construction and implementation of the plan to build the bank for the module and semester examinations and co-ordinated with the departments in order to well implement the proposed plan. Hundreds of modules will be available for examination at the school. During the exam period, the Testing and Quality Assurance Department will actively coordinate with the units to organize and manage the exam seriously and strictly in all stages of the process. contest. In general, the organization and management of the module, the semester has been improved, renovated, with many good changes to ensure impartiality, fair and true evaluation of the results of students.

Implementing quality assurance and self-evaluation plans, the department advises school leaders to develop a self-assessment plan, advise the assignment of working groups and units, working groups as planned. The school self-report has been completed and sent to the Ministry of Education and Training in accordance with the regulations. In addition, implementing the guideline of the Ministry of Education and Training on getting feedback from learners about teaching activities of lecturers, from the school year 2013 - 2014, the unit advised the Rector on succession Plan and coordinate with related units to collect feedback from learners about teaching activities of instructors. Specifically, each year has collected opinions of all regular students with more than 100 lecturer of the school. The self-assessment and quality assurance activities have helped the school to capture the quality of the training, assess the school's performance against the standards and criteria of the Ministry of Education education and training, thereby developing a strategy for school development and provide immediate and long-term solutions to improve the quality of schooling.

With the results achieved, since the establishment, up to now, the Department of Quality Assurance and Accreditation has won many emulation titles and was awarded a higher award by the higher level. Rector rewarded. In the school year of 2009 - 2010 and the school year of 2015 - 2016, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh recognized the outstanding labor collective. In the academic year 2008 - 2009, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit; In the school year 2010 - 2011, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit. Branches continuously won the title of clean and strong branch office and always won the title of excellent strength. 3. Development orientation in the coming time

In the coming years, the department will continue to advise the university on the renewal of the form, methods of examination, examination and evaluation of the students' learning outcomes in the assessment direction. capacity of the learner; combine the evaluation in the learning process with end-of-semester evaluation in accordance with the training method of the school; To step up the application of information technology in examining and evaluating students' learning results; From 2017 to 2018, the bank of tests will continue to develop the questionnaire for the module and semester examinations under the credit training program.
