Faculty of Foreign Languages and Information Technology was founded on January 15, 2009 under the Decision No. 47 / QD-UBND issued by the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province - 2 years after the establishment of the university. Eight years of development has not been a long time, but the achievements that the faculty of Foreign Languages ​​- Information Technology gained are so proud.

The faculty is in charge of teaching English and IT to students of all majors in the university, setting up training schemes, plans and curriculum. In addition, the faculty has the assignment of scientific research on foreign languages ​​and cultures, information technology in order to timely meet the requirements as well as the increasing demand for training quality and application of science and technology to schools and society, meeting the trend of international integration.

• Organization structure and staffs:

At present, the Faculty has 20 lecturers, including: 01 PhD, 18 Masters, 01 Bachelor’s Degree Holder. The Faculty includes of: Faculty Board (Dean and Associate Dean) and 2 devisions (the devision of English and the devision of Information Technology).

• Training results:

The Faculty has trained 98 students at Bachelor's degree in English at and 120 students at bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. The Faculty has also coordinated training and fostering for over 10,000 students in other fields in and outside the school. As noted by the units, employers use the results of training for graduates in English and Information Technology to meet the requirements of work, many children have undertaken important tasks in units and enterprises. The quality of English training, computerization at school is enhanced.

• Scientific Research:

The faculty members have undertaken 22 institutional research projects. There were 1 project and 25 academic articles getting published on the domestic and international academic journals. Two divisions of the Faculty have published two books on training and research.

• Results in other fields:

In the field of information technology: the faculty has counselled and coordinated with other units inside and outside the university to effectively apply information technology in order to meet the requirements the computerization in state agencies and enterprises.

In the field of teaching English language: the faculty has actively participated and coordinated in professional work when Ninh Binh Province held international conferences, seminars and examinations for public employee recruitment. In addition, the faculty has also coordinated with the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Informatics on training and issuing English and Informatics certificates to students and other learners.
