TALK ABOUT 80th ANNIVERSARY “OUTLINE OF VIETNAMESE CULTURE” (1943 - 2023)

Implementation of the Plan No. 38/KH-DHHL dated March 2nd , 2023 of the Rector of Hoa Lu University on organizing the talk to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of “Outline of Vietnamese Culture” (1943-2023), February 10th , 2023, the school solemnly organized a talk to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the birth of "Outline of Vietnamese Culture" (1943-2023).

Attending and giving a talk on the topic "Outline of Vietnamese Culture" of the Communist Party of Vietnam were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Toan Thang - Former Director of the Institute of Culture and Development (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics); Participants included representatives of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Party Committee of Ninh Binh Province's Agencies and Enterprises; Reporter of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station. On the side of Hoa Lu University, there were comrades leading the school, leaders of units, lecturers of Political Theory Department, Department of Culture - Faculty of Tourism; nearly 200 university students and students majoring in Party History and Ho Chi Minh Thought, Faculty of Political Theory - Civic Education, K69 - Hanoi National University of Education are doing pedagogical internships at the University.

Overview of the Talk

Speaking at the talk, Dr. Vu Van Truong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the school emphasized: "The outline of Vietnamese Culture" has important theoretical and practical value in the career of fighting. the struggle for national liberation, national reunification and the current renewal process. The fact that the University organized the talk "Outline of Vietnamese Culture" is of special significance to help the staff and students of the school instill the historical meaning, the meaning of the times, the great values, the long life. The existence and influence of the Outline on Vietnamese culture over the past 80 years, in order to arouse and improve the awareness and confidence of officials and students in the correct and wise leadership of the Party and Uncle Ho in the cultural development of the country. Since then, building political bravery, revolutionary ethics and cultural lifestyle to continue effectively implementing the Party's cultural development line in the context of national renewal and deepening integration.

Through the presentation, Assoc., Dr. Nguyen Toan Thang - Former Director of the Institute of Culture and Development (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) analyzed and clarified: The circumstances of birth; core values; the meaning of the outline of Vietnamese culture in the historical process of our country's revolution. In particular, the three principles that outline the designation of the new Vietnamese culture as "nationalization", "scientificization" and "massification" play a particularly important role. Culture is identified as one of three fronts; Along with politics, economics, writers and artists are also soldiers on that front. Culture creates the power to attract all forces in society and the Party's views on culture are concretized in the Resolutions of the Party Congress. In particular, the XIII Congress emphasized the building and promotion of Vietnamese cultural values ​​and human strength according to the orientation of the Outline on Vietnamese Culture.

The outline of Vietnamese culture was directly drafted and approved by General Secretary Truong Chinh at the Conference of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee in February 1943. It is the creative application of Marxist-Leninist viewpoints into the practice of the Vietnamese revolution. The historical value of the Outline on Vietnamese culture is a political document bearing the stature of the first Platform of our Party on culture, reflecting the law of cultural development of our nation in accordance with the development process of human culture in general and the characteristics of the Vietnamese revolution in particular.

The talk is a meaningful activity to honor and be more aware of the historical, political, scientific values ​​and the stature of the times about the introduction of the Outline of Culture in the development process of culture and the revolutionary cause of the country. Therefore, in the coming time, the University needs to make efforts to apply the principles of the Outline on Vietnamese Culture in order to promote the great unity bloc, mobilize the participation of intellectual and talented contributions of the staff and students in building the development of the university.
